These are images of stones or rocks (and minerals) of one sort or another that have been found around Auckland city. I collect rocks that interest me, they can be city-rocks or natural curiosities - if it catches my eye, I usually pick it up.

This is a piece of old Queen Street, Auckland (2003). It is comprised of red-chip from Karamuramu Island, and the cement that has been used has been coloured slightly with a red-oxide to compliment the stone.
